Bannu pulao is made by local pulao experts in Bannu. It is not too much different from Pakistani traditional pulao but adding some extra Masala and locally prepared items make it the best pulao in Pakistan. Bannu pulao is not coming slowly because the extra beef in this pulao makes it super tasty, and the sticky tone of this pulao makes it very yummy. The only property in this pulao is extra beef and we all know that extra beef can make any pulao a testy pulao.
In this session, we will learn about the making process of Bannu pulao and all of its ingredients.
Making process and required items:
Ingredients of Bannu pulao:
1___ Two kg of boneless beef
the extracted bones from the beef will be required also so make sure that you have the bones of beef already!
Remember that the quantity of beef should be thrice the kgs of rice for example if you want to make one kilogram of pulao you should have the three kgs of beef
2___ half kg of onion ( 500 grams)
3___ 250 grams of Vegatable ghee
4___ 500 grams of tomato
5___ 3 to 4 liter of water
6___ crushed garlic in one tablespoon
7___ crushed red chillis two tablespoon
8___ Two to five tablespoons of salt
9___ cum seeds two tablespoons
10___ black paper powder one tablespoon
11___ Garam masala and loung in some quantity
12___ 1.5 kg washed sela rice
Making procedure of Bannu pulao:
Put the vegetable ghee and onions in one pot and burn flame
let the onions turn brown
and add half a glass of water to make it soft and leave it for two minutes
now add the tomatoes and two cups of water and cover it.
leave it for 15 minutes and make the tomatoes soft. If it requires more water then you can add it for making the mixture soft.
add your crushed garlic paste and leave the mixture until the oil leaves it.
Add red chillis and salt. now add water as mentioned and after that, you should add the bones extracted from beef.
After 40 to 50 minutes add beef and after 1 and a half hours when the beef is th the mixture add rice and the black paper powder with garam masala remember that you should remove the bones before adding rice.
Let the water inside the rice dry slowly and gradually and then check that threatening still in a low amount and the rice is still enough nourished
Place a thick metal pan on flame and then place your pot with almost cooked rice on it. Cover the pot surface with a clean and new cloth or towel and let it dry eee Bannu pulao is not ready
A nourished, oily and tasty Bannu pulao is now ready to be served on a plate and the Bannu pulao will make you crazy if you take a bite.
Extra tips and precautions during making bannu pulao;
Don't depend upon tutorials and videos too much but try to make it with yourself also and try to prepare Bannu pulao with some extra masala such as Bannu pulao special masala.
